The Shadowman (2020)

Thriller
A film by Heidi Hayden

Credits/Cast

Annie Litchford and Sammie Hayden

Film Description

The Shadowman is a short thriller silent film about the Shadowman who steals people into the shadows.

Directors Bio

I started making videos for school projects around 2014 and began to really love editing. I am currently attending a film class at my college, and I’ve learned that I like to create these silly short films about anything to socks to shadowmen to space documentaries and hopefully much more.

Behind The Scenes

I started this project out by writing a storyboard which gave me the rough idea and sketches of the film. I really struggled to write the story in the beginning because I was really unsure where I wanted to go with it. I also lacked some editing skills to make some of the things happen so I ended up having to tune myself down a bit. I worked with actress Annie Litchford and she gave me extra advice on how to film, she was such a big help. So was my sister Sammie Hayden who acted as the shadow. She helped me with the music and editing process a lot. I am so grateful to them and I loved how the film turned out in the end!

The Hamper (2020)

A film by Stuart Hamilton

Credits/Cast

Stuart Hamilton

Film Description

A man must deal with a supernatural presence in his home.

OTS Films’ Short Review

The Hamper is delightful. It manages to be both humorous and serious at the same time. The musical accents and the low camera angles really bring about the horror aspect of the film, while the storyline manages to make you laugh.
